If you are looking for an email client that will give you functionality of Outlook on your phone Touchdown is it! I have tried other clients like Moxier and others and simply none of them can match Touchdowns functionality. It syncs emails with folders, contacts, calender and tasks. What sets Touchdown appart from the rest is its ability to sync all your email for starters, not just 30 days. 

The biggest feature for me though is its search abilities. It will search all your emails, calendar, contacts and tasks. That feature alone makes it a great desktop alternative for me because I am always doing those searches. Now I can treat the phone just like my desktop email. It truely allows me able to use Outlook to its fulliest and have that ability on the go!!!! I put off buying this for about 6 months, because I kept trying to see if there was something better. Needless to say I am using Touchdown full time now.
